About me
My name is William Rossiter and I am a 16-year-old photographer living in the Wye Valley. Wildlife is my main focus as I am lucky enough to live in an area of natural beauty, which is what inspired me to try photography. I began by photographing a local Kingfisher with a camera in 2020, and began making this website in 2021. This has been a long time in the making.

Why wildlife photography?
Wildlife and nature have always fascinated me, even before I was interested in photography. Turning nature and wildlife into art is something I will keep practicing and improving because even when I don’t get the photograph I want, I feel like time spent in nature is never time wasted.
Beginning photography
I started regularly taking photographs in late 2020, when I recieved a camera for my birthday. Soon after, I visited my local river to try and photograph a kingfisher and had success. I was so excited that I decided I wanted to focus on wildlife photography. I haven’t stopped since.
